Is there any warranty on the cars?

The manufacturer's warranty, as well as the warranties of Carvector, do not apply to used cars. Therefore, all cars are sold in the "AS IS" condition.

In such cases, the question of the reliability of the information about the car's condition always arises.

When buying a car at a Japanese auction, you receive the most reliable information about its technical condition, as the auction sheets are filled out by professional assessors with extensive experience in evaluating the condition of used cars. With our many years of experience in buying cars at Japanese auctions, we see that in the vast majority of cases, these assessments can be trusted.

However, it should be noted that during the inspection of the car before the auction, the inspector has limited time to inspect the car, and there is a human factor, so he can only indicate information about the defects that seem important to him. If the car has many defects, the checklist may simply not have enough space to list them all. Additionally, a used car may have hidden defects that cannot be detected during the pre-auction inspection.

Carvector is not responsible for such damages, as it acts as an intermediary and logistics operator in the process of acquiring the car and is not a party responsible for the technical condition of the cars. However, our managers, who have many years of experience, will always provide recommendations on the condition of the car and advise whether to bid on the car or refuse to purchase it.

Defects that were not noted in the auction sheet but were discovered after the client received the car appear quite rarely – about one car in a hundred. Nevertheless, we consider it important to warn you about this.

To minimize the risk of buying a car with damage, we recommend purchasing cars with ratings of 4 and above – these cars are in good condition. However, even in this case, listen to the opinion of our manager and carefully review the translation of the checklist and the body damage map. If you want to save money and buy a cheaper car with a rating below 4 points, you should consider that such a car cannot be expected to be in new condition.
