Once we have received your transfer to our bank account, we can start the purchase process.
How to choose a car at the auction and evaluate its condition?
One day before the auction, your personal manager will send you pre-selected offers with detailed information about the condition of the vehicles.
It should be noted that used cars are sold "as is" on the basis of the auction sheet (car description) and photographs. There should be no surprise for you if there may be small scratches and dents that are not listed on the auction list.
For each proposal we will provide comments from our specialists and translation of the auction sheet - you will have a good understanding of the condition of the car.
If something in the description of the car seems unacceptable to you (for example, internal dirt, scratches, engine noise, oil leakage) - be sure to tell us so that we will exclude this car from the list of applicants.
For our part, we will always give recommendations on the condition of the car and whether it is worth making a purchase.
You can also independently search for car options at the auction and show the manager you liked the lots for evaluation and advice.
How to place a bid at a car auction?
When you choose a car, our specialist will make a bid on your behalf in accordance with your budget.
Beforehand, we will definitely agree with you on specific lots and the size of your bid.
The confirmation dialog looks like this:
Manager
Here is the translation for lot 1055 underneath rust, stone chip on windscreen, dirty inside, paint faded, after market alloy wheels.
Client
Yes, thank you. I want to bid 10,500 Euro. 🔥
Manager
Just want to ask if it’s OK that the car has rust underneath?
Client
Yes, I saw it. It’s not a big deal. 👌
Manager
Noted, thank you. Is 10,500Euro just a car price or C&F price?
Manager
I get it. So, I confirm your bid 10,500 Euro C&F for lot 1055 USS Tokyo, Mercedes Benz S class W140, 1996, black.
Client
Yes, exactly. I confirm. 🚀
Experienced customers who buy more than their first car with us can place bids on their own through the system on our website.
In this case, the Carvector manager will receive a notification that you have placed a bid on the item.
According to the rules of the company, the manager will contact you to present the translation of the auction list and receive confirmation of your readiness to purchase this car.
During the approval process, you will receive from us:
How is the Japanese car auction going on?
After agreeing on the bids, we will participate in the auction and try to buy the car as cheaply as possible.
You can cancel your bid before you start trading If you decide to cancel, you must get confirmation from your manager that he has accepted your bid and cancellation is still possible.
If the bidding for your car has already begun, it is technically impossible to cancel the bid.
In addition to auctions, we can buy a car at a fixed price from Japanese car dealers. You will receive bids for suitable vehicles from us in advance
So, the bidding has begun
- One machine trades for about 15-20 seconds, we will not have time to communicate with you when the auction starts. Therefore, please provide us with your best rate in advance.
- If the maximum offered rate has not reached the desired price of the seller, the car may not be sold. In this case, the car can be purchased "by agreement" (fixed price). The amount that the owner wants to receive will be indicated to you. We will have about 30 minutes with you to immediately accept the seller's price or refuse. An important point - the faster we react, the more chances we have to buy a car.
- Several buyers almost always apply for one car. If your best bid is too low, another buyer might get your car. Follow our guidelines and don't bid too low. If we are lucky - we will buy a car at a price lower than your best bet.
We will inform you of the result as soon as the auction ends.
May I reject a vehicle purchased at auction?
You can cancel the purchased car within one hour after the purchase.
If you decide to opt out, we will put your car up for auction. All resale expenses will be removed from your deposit, which will amount to about 110 thousand yen. The balance of the deposit will be returned to your current account. Or you can top up the deposit to buy another car.
Your bid won the auction and you bought a car, what's next?
If your rate is the best, you become the owner of the car and we will send you an invoice for payment.
There is a chance that you can buy a car cheaper than the amount you expected - it will be a pleasant bonus for you.
You will need to pay for your car within 5 working days.
The invoice can be issued in yen, dollars or euros at your request.
You can pay in any currency, but our bank will automatically convert your transfer to Japanese Yen (JPY).
